Merlin Deal Expands MixBANK Catalog to Over 30 Million Tracks Across Nearly 40,000 Independent and Major Labels
DubsetMedia, a company bringing transparency, control, and new catalog royalties to rights holders, today announcedthe company has reached an agreement on a partnership with Merlin, the global digital rights agency for the world’s independent label sector. Under the agreement, Dubset will immediately begin identifying and registering Merlin member catalogs for use, allowing those labels and distributors to begin monitoring, managing, and monetizing use of their recordings. A growing number of major music services are now utilizingDubset’s MixBANK™ to ensure the mix and remix content they receivefor distributionis properly cleared and administered.

Dubset’s MixBANK™ platform powersreal-time copyright identification, multi-rights holder clearance, and DDEX compliant distribution to some of the highest paying on-demand music services in the world including Apple. The company inked a deal earlier this year with Sony Music Entertainment to manage and monetize its catalog within mix and remix content.
